The Iowa Association of Legal Assistants (IALA) consists of eight
regions which correspond to Iowa’s eight judicial districts.
IALA was established to serve the educational needs of paralegals
in the state of Iowa.
IALA Fall Seminar
Harrah's Hotel and Casino on Friday,
September 17, 2010 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Topics
and tracks include technology, litigation, and others.
New to our seminar format is a specific track for paralegals
working for prosecutors.

IALA SURVEY
IALA’s 2009 salary and benefit survey for
paralegals/legal assistants employed in the State of Iowa
is now available for IALA members on the members
only webpage. If

reduced costs at seminars.
IALA sponsors Iowa State Bar Association functions
twice yearly and collaborates with the
Iowa State Bar Association Legal Assistant Committee regarding
issues affecting the paralegal profession.
IALA is affiliated with National Association of Legal
Assistants/Paralegals (NALA).
Members are kept apprised of laws that affect their profession
and activities of affiliated
associations throughout the country.
